Americans are good at forming clubs and gathering crowds. But clubs, and crowds, even when--especially they are religious clubs and crowds, are not communities. The formulation of community is the intricate, patient, painful work of the Holy Spirit. We cannot buy or make community; we can only offer ourselves to become community.

Life Groups (what we call Small Groups) are the fundamental building blocks of our church. They meet regularly in a variety of locations, for God-centered fellowship and discussion. A Life Group is a place to experience deep and lasting relationships, where positive life change can occur and authentic community be lived. Life Groups provide a non-threatening atmosphere in which the life signs (passion, connecting, renewal) are learned and nurtured. They are a safe environment where people can:

Hear God's stories made applicable to daily life

Navigate the complexities of life with others

Share personal stories, listen to others, pray and encourage one another in life

Ask tough questions

Develop life giving relationships 

We have a variety of family, men's, women's and youth groups meeting in homes and coffee shops. We can arrange to find you a group that you would feel comfortable with or can assist and equip groups of friends within the church who feel a bond to form and facilitate their own group.
